Cat Lady

This shabby chic doll head was hand painted and fired by someone named "Essie" which is painted on the back along with the date 1988.

I have finished the art doll by placing her on one of my repurposed perfume bottles with little gemstones and incantation spells sealed inside creating a wonderful whimsical Spirit Bottle.

The bottom of the assemblage doll was created using a gold tones metal link chain in a circle and adding other jewelry pieces, beads, rhinestones, buttons and a sweet little repurposed gold toned metal cat playing with a ball which was once a brooch pin.

The fantasy art doll has pink embroidered lace around her shoulders, a bit of tattered lace trim and pretty fabric flowers. There are ornate metal jewelry pieces, one side has a dangle of vintage flowers linked together which was once a necklace and the other side has a dangle copper chain which was once silver plated and has an angel charm attached to it.

The back of the assemblage doll has a pretty repurposed bunch of pink and white roses and white flowers with ribbon which was once part of the trim from a prom dress of unknown and past life.

The art doll is approximately 7 inches tall with a base that is 3 1/2 inches by 3 inches.
